WELCOME to the MVIA WEB SITE!

Welcome to the Mountain View Improvement Association web site! This web site represents yet another step in our continuous search for new and better ways to keep our neighborhood families connected and informed about what's happening in our subdivision. Visit our site for the latest information on meeting dates, neighborhood news, information and social activities

The MVIA is also a part of Google Groups. This allows us to offer a message board for lot owners to post questions and information for each other. If you have a comment or question, go ahead and post it! If you have an answer post that too! To learn more about our Message Board, just click the "Message Board" link to the left.

If you have any suggestions or ideas for our web site (or the MVIA Board) please let us know. We’re interested in hearing from you. You will find links to our e-mail addresses on the Contact Information page as well as links to your neighbor's e-mails.

If you would like to share family news, graduations, weddings, new babies, adoption, etc., we can do that too. Just let us know and we'll post it here.

We will update information as needed, so please visit again!

SPRING CATALPA TREE BLOOMS. BEAUTIFUL!

LIVING WITH OUR WILD NEIGHBOR THE COYOTE

With the arrival of spring and summer you will likely notice an increase in the activity level of wildlife in our neighborhood. One of our neighbors, the coyote may cause concern for some. It is possible to safely coexist with our wild neighbors.

THERE ARE STEPS YOU CAN TAKE TO KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE and NOT ATTRACT COYOTE TO YOUR YARD.
IT'S A NEIGHBORHOOD THING and WE ALL NEED TO PARTICIPATE!

Check out this free door hanger/pamphlet loaded with suggestions and tips on coexisting with coyotes.
Print one for your home, discuss it with family members and post it on the refrigerator.
Please note: Fences as recommended in this literature are not allowed in Mountain View.

HAVE YOU HEARD THE COYOTES?
Quite often, the coyotes will sing along with the train whistle when the train passes through.
The next time you hear the train coming, pause and listen. You just might hear the coyote song!
