Don't you just hate it when you can't remember if it's a recycle day? Well, here's a handy chart, to help!

If you aren't taking advantage of curb-side recycling, please contact Waste Management at 800-796-9696 for program enrollment information. Be sure to tell them you are in Genoa Township and residential.

• Genoa Township's Yard Waste Collection program has not been published for 2008. Please check back.

• The guidelines for yard waste are as follows:

• Collection trucks and personnel will be on hand from 9 AM until 12 PM to assist residents with emptying their vehicles of recyclable waste such as grass clippings, leaves and branches, (in 3 foot long bundles).

• Please use paper bags for loose materials as plastic bags cannot be put in the trucks and will cause longer waits as personnel have to empty the plastic bags by hand.
